"Eight at 8" is eight questions asked by the community and fans for Pure Strength Athletes. This will give you a chance to ask personal questions about the Athletes and learn who and what inspires them to live a Pure Lifestyle. We will introduce a new athlete every Monday 8PM EST. If you want to see your questions next week be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter!
1. When you first began your CrossFit adventure/career, who on the Games scene did you admire/look up to the most?
"Annie Sacamoto- I loved that she was as small as me, yet so fierce when she competed. I remember watching the Nasty Girls video thinking I wanted to be as good and as fast as her. "

2. If you had to name one sport or activity, outside of CrossFit, to be competitive in, what would it be?
"I would love to be a competitive Tennis player. I've always enjoyed tennis, and wish I played in high school, but didn't have much time for it around my gymnastics schedule. I still play from time to time, but hopefully a sport I can continue to play for the rest of my life."
3. What skill does everyone think you're sooo awesome at, but you secretly hate?
"Handstand push-ups. I've done them most of my life now, so naturally, I'm decent at them. I hurt my neck on them leading up to Regionals in 2013, and since then I'm not a big fan, at least not kipping handstand push-ups. I don't even like to visualize doing them. Strict or strict deficit I'm cool with because I don't have to bang my head onto the mat."

4. What skill does everyone automatically assume you hate, but you actually love?
"Rowing. When I first started CF, I hated rowing, as most shorter girls do. But Ben has programmed quite a bit of rowing in the last 5 years, and although I'm not the best at it, I'm proud that I can usually hold my own in workouts with rowing in competition. "
5. What is your all time, #1 favorite moment of your CrossFit career?
"The moment I finished double grace at the 2014 CF Games and looked up in the stands at Ben, knowing that I secured at least top 10 if not better. At that moment, we both felt that all the hard work and years of disappointing (at regionals) had been worth it and led to the pride we felt that day. Then realizing that I took 6th and looking up in the stands at my family and all my Terminus people beaming with joy."
6. What moment are you most proud of in your CrossFit career?
"There is not one day or one moment, but opening and continuing to grow CrossFit Terminus is one of my proudest accomplishments."
7. If someone made you take a vacation right now, and you could go anywhere, where would you go?
"My favorite vacation spot and happy place. Amelia Island- for beaches, golf, seafood, sun, and cocktails. But there are many places I've never been that I would love to go as well!"
8. Who has inspired you the most in your life?
"Ben. He has gone from my CrossFit coach, to friend, then boyfriend, and now fiancé. He is my biggest supporter. He has allowed me to mature and inspires me to work harder and be the best I can be in CrossFit and in life."
